The animated, porcelain Morisken, stands on an organic-shaped base, (possibly a rock) wearing a fluid costume with bishop-style sleeves and decorative front placket. The figurine's boots of acute form and indicating movement. Allach's consumate skill and craftsmanship is most apparent in the white-glazed Morisken Burgunder figurine which combines anatomical detail (the hands/fingers),with a complex, dynamic pose, and realistic costume elements (sleeves/fluid costume). To the figurine base, the entwined-rune, Allach porcelain maker-mark. Size: 22.6cm high.
