DAF High Leaders peak visor cap

Stunning quality from  the Berlin-based capmaker, G.A.Hoffmann

The DAF High Leader peak cap with finest dark blue doeskin doeskin top, with black mohair capband incorporating woven oak leaves in highlight.

The peak visor cap retains golden wire hand-embroidered eagle/swastika insignia, along with the gold wire hand-embroidered oakleaves with central cogwheel / swastika insignia. The cap has a set of golden bullion wire capcords, attached with golden buttons.

The cap is lined in fine quality light cream silk, with the full celluloid diamond bearing the full golden makers name and address of G.A.Hoffmann, Berlin (one of the premier cap makers at the time). Behind the light tan leather sweatband is the full linen RZM/DAF stores label.

Condition report: The cap remaining in close to mint condition, free from moth or damage. The golden wire insignia, and capcords, has a pleasant patina showing. The cap retains a good shape. The lining shows just light use.
