RAF visor cap originally belonging to Dunn, but bearing another name to the sweatband. Possible re-issue.
Newspaper articles relating to Dunn’s awards of the DFC and DFM
DFM 1942. 22.9.1942. while with 115 Squadron. Citation states, “he undertook a daylight attack to aid the Yugoslavian forces. This attacK was very successful, and Flying Officer Dunn took some excellent photographs.”
DFC. 25.August 1944 40 Squadron.
Condition report: The medals on original ribbons with silver metal-top suspensions, near excellent condition and free from damage or contact marks. DFC with original case. Log Books, RAF cap and photographs in very good- to near excellent condition with storage age commensurate with age.

December 22 1940: Miles Magister air experience.
Dual experience included taxiing, flying controls, take-off, landing, un-powered flight, navigation, spin recovery, aircraft management, emergency recovery, up to solo flight 14th March after 13 hours.
Further practise, instrument flying, forced landings, cross country flying, aerobatics, signed-off after 57 hours.
Apri 25 1941: converted to Oxford, twin-engine aircraft. Training topics & sequence.
July 01 1941: 1st pilot, low flying, formation flying, photography, overshoot landings, Link trainer, completed after 139 hours @ 1st July.
August 06 1941: Converted to Wellington bomber. Maiden flight. Joined D flight at OTU.
October 194. 0171 hrs: Signed-off for Wellington Bombers.

November 24 1941: Instrument flying

June 06: 4000lb bomb to Emden.
July 11. 0513 hrs: Mine laying. Baltic.
August 01: Training others
December 21: Flew Anson.
January 17 1943: 0762hrs: Flew Whitley with cine camera gun.
April 02: Halifax.
April 23: Low level bombing Whitley.
