Gendarmerie Officer's four pocket tunic for sale. The named tunic in the typical police field grey wool gabardine, with plain field grey collar and cuffs.  

The tunic is complete with the Gendarmerie silver aluminum and orange collar patches, and epaulettes in entwined silver on orange. A fine wreathed eagle/swastika insignia complete the tunic to the left sleeve.

The silk tunic-lining sports a full Munich tailor's label, (with a corresponding label is located to the inside top pocket). A particulalry scarce, named tunic offered for sale in very good overall condition, with just light wear visible.

Note: Dated 1938. The tailor's label confirms the original owner as 'Hauptmann Lagerbauer,' (the tunic being 'upranked' when Lagerbauer was promoted).
