A German Army 'D-H' service watch for sale. The WW2 German military watch made by Longines, and with an early contract date.
The German Army 'D-H' watch case in stainless steel with a lightly polished finish. Reverse with standard six-indent screw case-back, and 'D-H' number '3387' The '3387' number also impressed into the reverse of one lug. The typical black dial with 1-12 hour digits, and subsidiary seconds at 18.00hrs. The 15-jewel movement by Longines, and marked Longines to the main bridge. Good Geneva Stripes to the bridges. The inside to the screw-back marked Longines, along with the case serial number.
Condition report: The watch dial in overall excellent condition. Case in excellent condition free from any undue wear or adverse scatches. Movement in excellent overall condition. The balance, good quality, and with screw in weights. Case screw-back in good overall condition. Some small scratches, but overall clean appearance. The watch running and recently serviced.
