A cased German Cross in gold for sale. The cased German Cross, made by C.F. Zimmermann, is in overall very good to excellent condition, showing signs of just light use. The German cross  retains 98% of the anodised grey finish to the starburst, and approximately 70% of the gilt finish to the wreath. The enamel to the swastika  is free from chips or damage; it does however show  light surface-wear.

The reverse to the cased German Cross, shows just light age patination with the typical four hollow rivet construction and flat tapered pin. The pin bearing the stamped LDO number '20' for Zimmermann.

The case to the German award shows storage age only, with light use to the black flocking, typically due to the award being removed, and returned to its case.
