Kreigsmarine  clock for sale.  The WW2 German navy clock made by Kieninger & Obergfell, with  brass case, hinged front with screwed glass. The silvered clock dial with black numbers, eagle & swastika 'M', and '6699 N' serial number. The case-back to the Kriegsmarine clock with most of the blackened finish, and the impressed case/movement number.

Condition report: Some general use evident, overall very good condition. The brass case with one or two  small dents. The original black paint now gone, apart from on the backplate, and signs of the black paint within the hinged assembly. The backplate retaining the three, projecting panels, with holes for securing the clock to the ship's bulkhead (one broken away and soldered back into place). The  clock dial  in very good to excellent condition, with  95% of the original, silvered-finish  and 100%  black in-fill to the numbers and motifs.

The hinge assembly and closing point slightly loose. The brass collar for opening the the hinged front plate appears to have been slightly shortened (possibly on account of the replacement key  - included in the sale, having a short hole).
