with first-to-mid-series gilt movement.'
Luftwaffe Tutima Glashütte chronograph for sale. The double-button, Luftwaffe chronograph pilots watch, with nickel-silver case, revolving milled bezel with 'red line.' Black dial with digits 1-12, 60-second, and 30-minute subsidiary counters. The Tutima trademark and Glashütte name positioned just beneath the 12.00hr digits.
Reverse with typical screw case-back bearing serial number ' 206 252'. The inside to the screw on case-back stamped, 'WASSERGESCHUTZT BODENEDELSTAHL' and then 'UHRENFABRIK A.G. GLASHÜTTE (Sa)'. The early to mid-series movement still retaining the gilt brass bridges with polished, steel mechanism. The top bridge with the movement number '206 252'. Fine balance with screw-in weights. Mid-series regulation.
Condition report: Case in excellent condition, free from damage 98% nickel-silver finish. The correct pushers showing light plate wear commensurate with use, similar light wear to the revolving bezel and winding crown.
Black dial in perfect condition and with good patina. Case-back excellent condition, the serial number remaining clear. The movement particularly clean. The movement fully working (having been stripped and overhauled). No warranty implied.
Note: This exceptionally original Luftwaffe Tutima chronograph has the desireable, first-to-mid-series gilt movement. Later examples received silvered bridges, and thereafter to all steel movements.
