Typical black dial with the Record trade-name, and War Department arrow. The dial with 1-12 hour digits, 60-second scale with luminous hour-marks. Subsidiary seconds-dial at 18.00 hrs.
To the reverse, the watch has a screw case-back with markings, War Department arrow, 'WWW L20742', and serial number; the inside to the case-back shows the same details. The high quality, 15-jewel movement with nicely-finished main bridges. The balance with screw-in weights. The Record name to the main wheel.
