A WW2, Royal Air Force (RAF) watch for sale. The WW2, RAF navigation pilot watch with coveted black dial, made by Jaeger Le Coultre, Switzerland, circa 1943.
The vintage RAF watch, with chromed brass turned case (43mm x 33mm excluding crown), and press fit case-back. The black dial with the Jaeger Le Coultre brand-name, 1-12 hour digits, luminous hour-marks, and sweep seconds hand.
To the reverse, case-back with markings, War Department arrow, '6B/159' and 'A' prefix serial number. The high quality, gilt movement with nicely-finished Geneva Stripes to the main bridges. The balance with screw-in weights. The Jaeger Le Coultre brand-name, and movement number to the main Bridge.
Condition report: Some light use to the chrome finish on the case. Plexi-glass clear and free from adverse scratching. Dial perfect and original. Hands perfect and with original luminous finish. Case-back clean and free from adverse scratches or damage. Movement clean and functioning. No warrany implied.
