A Nuremburg desk eagle for sale.  The Nuremburg desk eagle is a miniature representation of the  Nuremburg eagles positioned to each side of the main podium at the Nuremburg rally grounds, ( made famous in the propoganda film Triumph of The Will, Lina Riefenstahl, 1935). 

The desk eagle is made with an antique bronzed finish over spelter base metal, and mounted to a marble plinth. The plinth with a burgundy finisher. To the reverse the eagle bears a typical light relief RZM trademark and maker designation M3/100.

The desk eagle measures 15.0 cm high with base. 

Condition report: Close to mint condition with 95% of the antique bronzed finish. The marble base perfect, and without chips or damage.

Note: Nuremburg desk eagles were often given as prizes for competitions held at the Nuremberg rallies. Officially produced Nuremburg desk eagle include the relief RZM maker details to the reverse. Unoffical examples are also known to have been made. There are at least three size variants.
