Royal Navy deck watch for sale made by Zenith. The H.S.3. deck watch has a chrome-over-brass case, with screw fit case-back. White enamel dial with scarce black & red meter readings. Outer 1-10 reading in black, middle red reading 5-60, and inner black reading 1-12. Case-back bears the War Department 'Arrow', along with the War Department classification, '0552/521/-0243', along with the serial number '7956'. 

To the inside, the case-back with impressed makers name and serial / case numbers. The movement being of particularly high quality, nicely jewelled, and with a high quality regulation. The main bridge bearing the Zenith name.

Condition report: The Royal Navy watch in close to mint, unused condition, with storage age only. Original, high-chromed finish perfect. Case-back close to perfect with all finish intact. Movement fresh and clean, free from damage. Fully functioning. No warranty implied.

Note:Immediately after World War II, a quantity of  H.S.3 watches were re-marked under the War Department heading, '0552/521-0243'. This example is interesting, as it has never had an 'HS 3' designation, only a '0552/521-0243' designation.
