SS RZM dagger for sale with RZM code number '1198 / 39'. The 1933 pattern SS dagger being a later production, made in 1939. The dagger with ebony grip and plated mounts. The grip with Runes eye, and nickle-silver eagle & swastika. The blade with SS motto to the obverse, and the RZM & maker details to the reverse, 'RZM 1198/39 SS.' The typical black painted scabbard with plated nickel-silver mounts.

Condition report: The upper- and lower dagger with much of their nickel-silver plate finish (approximately 85%) remaining. The  ebony grip in good order, and with a pleasant polished finish. Runes enamel eye in place, along with a perfect nickle-silver eagle & swastika.The blade in very good overall condition and the motto and RZM details remain sharp and clear.The blade   has been professionally polished, and this has certainly improved the blade. Two or three small pit marks are present.

The scabbard with a later (possibly period ?) black painted finish. The original factory paint finish can be seen in places. The plated scabbard mounts clean and with virtually all plate finish intact. Bottom ball perfect, and free from dents or splits. All screws present.
