A WW2 Sestrel ships clock with silence zones, made by the distinguished clock & compass supplier Henry Browne & Son, Berking, England.*
This brass-cased ships clock with white dial detailing digits '1-12' to the outer -, and digits '13-24' to the inner ring. Additionally to the outer ring: 12 x five-minute demarcations (coloured red), and two x three-minute, radio silence zones (coloured red).
The manual winding facility for the 8-day movement is positioned at 18.00hrs, with regulation immediately below 12.00 hrs.
The clock has a hinged, pressure-fit glazed opening, and a flared back-plate with four, bulkhead screw holes.
Condition report: The clock is in excellent overall condition and functioning. No warranty implied.
