A Waffen-SS ski-cap for sale. The Panzer, 'Wittmann-style,' Einheitsmütze ski-cap, in black wool, with a single-button, and (particularly desireable combination of), BeVo woven, eagle & swastika, and skull- badge insignia, to the front.

The Waffen-SS ski-cap is lined in a mid-brown silk with the markings 'HABRAMAG GRUNN 3042/44 56.' The BeVo woven insignia is machine-sewn to the ski-cap at the point of manufacture. 

Condition report: The Waffen-SS ski-cap shows a moderate amount of service-wear to both the exterior and lininig; particular use showing through to the visor, and general stains to the lining.

Note: the SS ski-cap offered for sale, is almost identical to the cap worn by LAH Officer, Michael Wittmann, in the well-known Normandy Campaign portrait.
