Memel Medal for sale with case of issue. The bronzed medal complete with its correct silk ribbon with white,red,white, gree, white, red, white stripes. The red morroco facsimile leather case with golden eagle/swastika to the front. The interior with white silk roof and red velvet base.

Condition report: Medal in close to mint condition (storage age only). Silk ribbon in clean condition and complete with brooch fitting. Case in overall very good condition, with the lid top bearing an excellent deeply impressed golden eagle / swastika. This motif much deeper impressed than usually found on the Entry into Austria case, and now the gilt finish darkened with age. Interior of case close to perfect, free from fraying or other damage. The underside of the case with a section of the leatherette finish damaged (possibly through being stuck to something in the past).
