October 2026 Highlights & News

Welcome to our October 2026 Highlights & News. For October we have picked three examples of items relating specifically to the Gauleitung of the NSDAP.

Our first Highlight for October is an extremely rare example of the NSDAP Gau East Prussia Badge of Honour, complete with presentation case. The silvered badge, made by the firm of Wachtler & Lange, bears the recipient’s issue number ‘1869’. The badge is contained within its dark red leather presentation case. There are less than a dozen known original examples within collections world wide today.

Our second Highlight is a good example of the NSDAP Gau level visor cap. The cap, in high quality tan brown gabardine, has the post-1939 burgundy red piping, and golden eagle/swastika and oakleaves with enamel cockade badges. The cap survives in an excellent moth free condition.

Our last Highlight for October is a rare example of the NSDAP Gauredner Ausweis, originally belonging to the well-known NSDAP speaker, Albert Leister. Gauredner Leister was well known Party speaker, NSDAP Alte Garde and Reichstag member. This red linen Ausweis dates from 1942, and opens out to show a photograph of Leister. These special Gauredner Ausweis’ were given to authorised Party Speakers, and were under the strict control of the Reichspropagandaleitung headed by Josef Goebbels. Only a half dozen of the Gauredner Ausweis’ are known within major collections.

We have now just taken on the third phase of the John F Holden Collection. This phase contains various SS and NSDAP related items. Phase 3 can be viewed at Collection For Sale, German, John F Holden Collection Phase 3.

As well as the Holden Collection, at the beginning of the year we took the first phase  of the well known David North belt buckle collection. The first phase of buckles is up on the Site. These can be viewed at Collections For Sale, German, David North Belt Buckle Collection. Some of these buckles have now been discounted, so maybe worth a second look.

Our section devoted to rare collectors books, including many Bender Published titles, is worth a look as well, with a fair number of rare to find books added recently. We have now added a new category under books, entitled – Third Reich Research Material. This category will hold a mixture of research books, photographs and archive files available, as we start to populate this category.

To those with an interest in all things relating to military clocks & watches, the long-awaited final volume of our German Military Timepiece publications has been completed. The final volume devoted to the Luftwaffe is now in stock, and is listed within our German Military Books category.

As always, please do check Take-A Pop, as some excellent items have been discounted by the consigners. There really are some superb buys for the 'savvy' collector, so do take a look ! Just as one example, item g010675, a camouflage ski-cap, which is the last remaining item we are selling from the Green Collection. It started out at £2750, and now as a final clearance, it is just £750.

There is also a large number of Dealer Lot groups, which allows us to dispose of lower value remnants from various collections, and at the same time offering you the chance to buy lots at very advantageous prices.

Do take a moment to check out our Take A Pop category. Here you will find heavily discounted end-of-consignments. Your chance to find a bargain without compromising quality. We have the remnants of two major collections heavily discounted, which includes some very nice pieces heavily discounted by our consigners.
