The best Sales Option for You. Whatever you may be proposing to sell - a single, inherited British medal, or treasured WW2 German militaria collection carefully curated over many years, we will advise the best sales option (consignment or selling outright), with a view to delivering great prices.
Prospective Vendors looking to achieve an 'immediate sale' often prefer to sell outright, in comparison, selling on consignment takes a more long-term approach, providing an opportunity to capitalise on our experience and know how, achieving great sales results along the way.
Consignment Sales | Overview
Selling medals and militaria on consignment with Ulric of England is formalised, transparent and tailored. Four key ingredients ensure we consistently delivers great results:

2. Loyal client-buyer (collector) database. Target market, high-net worth individuals and organisations who actively collect or enjoy making one-off medal and militaria purchases either from our website and/or through unpublicised, private-treaty sales.

In the event you choose to Consign your properties for sale, (c.f. selling outright), we will forward a draft Consignment Contract of Sale for your consideration.
The Consignment Contract defines the agreed terms between yourself (the Vendor) & Ulric of England Company including fees, term, Vendor-specific requirements, plus our general Business Terms & Conditions.
Signed Contracts are available in several formats including email/password-protected pdf and/or hard paper copy.
Product category requirements (for example German Edged weapons, Waterloo Medals, Military Watches) are evaluated every two weeks, or thereabouts.
Medal & Militaria Valuations | Overview
Pre-Sales Valuations. We undertake pre-sale valuations for purchasing medals and militaria outright and on consignment.
Insurance valuations. We've conducted specialised, industry-acknowledged insurance valuations since the late 70s. In addition to our popular 'desk-top' valuations, (based on the provision of phtographs and product descriptions), we also conduct estate visits.
Subject to the complexity and volume of properties assessed, insurance valuations may take several hours - or months to complete. Insurance valuation documents are available in several fomats including printed & bound, C.D. and/or password protected pdf.
