In addition to the Royal Army Medical Corps (RAMC), Medal group, the  sale includes an original, Military Medal citation, (typed), pair of RAMC shoulder patches, and an 8th Army, unit patch.

Condition report: Overall very good to excellent condition.

Note: Cahill was a forward stretcher bearer with the RAMC, constantly employed in these duties throughout the Italian Campaign. The citation for the MM confirms Private Robert Cahill had a reputation second-to-none and complete disregard of danger to himself.
