Description: Casebound with blue boards and white vellum spine, bearing full title plates to the spine and front cover. 197 pages on hand-made paper. Numerous fold-out plates containing hand-coloured mapsl complete with the unique, double fold-out engraved plates detailing a panorama of the Waterloo battlefield. The panorama with numbers against landmarks, for example Hougoumont, plus with an extensive key to the numbers at the base. The entire panorama extending over 3 1/2 feet.
Condition report: The covers expertly restored, original blue Georgian boards. Restored vellum spine. The title plates re-attached to the spine and front cover. Internal pages good, and free from any foxing or damage. Fold-out plates crisp and fresh.
Note: Booth's 'The Battle of Waterloo', and Kelly's 'Battle of Waterloo' were published in 1816. Both publications forming some of the most thorough examination of the battle, which were made available to the public.
