Two RZM/SS labels

Deutschland OR/NCO RZM cuff title for sale. The machine-embroidered cuff title with off-white machine-embroidered gothic script on black. Silver-aluminium (seven strand) upper- and lower edges. Machined ends (typical of this cuff title). Two RZM/SS paper stores labels to the reverse.

Condition report: The Deutschland cuff title removed from a tunic cuff/sleeve. Showing some general service wear. One end shortened by 6.0cm to fit to sleeve. Shortened length now 41.0cm. Full length as per this type (47.0cm). One RZM/SS label machined into the end of one side (now mostly gone), one B-rated stores label mounted to the centre of the band, with the machine-embroidery going directly through it.

Provenance: Ulric of England Collection. Purchased 1996. 

Notes: Introduced for wear from September 1935. A particularly  interesting cuff title. One RZM label machine-stitched into the end of the cuff title. The label confirming the manufacturer of the cuff title cloth. The embroidery company would have placed the label to the centre of the cuff title [and embroidered directly through it].
