Prince of Wales's Own [PWO] General Service Medal for sale  with Northern Ireland clasp. The PWO medal with Northern Ireland clasp, boxed.

The Elizabeth R medal impressed, ' 24258576 PTE. D. WATSON PWO'. The medal with ribbon and contained within its box with Elizabeth R crown to the lid.

Condition report: The medal in excellent to near mint condition. Box showing light use, and some of handwritten details to base now missing.

Note: In April 1969, the Prince of Wales's Own was deployed to Northern Ireland as part of the UK Government's response to terrorist attacks. The regiment was the first British military unit to become involved in the resulting years of sectarian violence, known simply as 'The Troubles.'
