Gold Party Badge. Military Pin. Cased.

Gold Party Badge for sale with 'Military' pin and presentation case. The cased Gold Party badge is particularly rare, in close to mint condition with 100% mercuric gilt plated finish to the obverse, and 98% gilt finish remaining to the reverse. The reverse  to the Gold Party Badge details the typical 'GES GESCH' cartouche with central air hole, impressed membership number '58 095,' and vertical, flat, 'military' pin assembly.

The Gold Party Badge case with a black, grained paper, simulated leather finish,  hinged back and pressure fit front. The case is designed to hold the Gold Party Badge and vertical 'military' style flat pin. It is lined with white silk to the lid, and black velvet to the base. The underside to the presentation case  shows a paper label detailing the number for the award (usually missing). Some marks to the top of the case, otherwise overall excellent condition.

Note: These cased presentation pieces were normally issued at special award ceremonies by the Gauleiter, and in some instances by Adolf Hitler. In general, Gold Party Badges would be posted to prospective recipients, or made available at the local NSDAP headquarters: in both instances, the Gold Party Badge was contained in a small paper packet.
