NPEA Epaulettes | Mounted To Military Intelligence Board

Two, WW2 German NPEA epaulettes for sale. The first epaulette detailing an off-white '561' and three rank pips, the counterpart epaulette with the number '649' and three rank pips.

Condition report: Both epaulettes glued onto a sample/display board. An  RZM label from the '561' epaulette is displayed separately (to the epaulette). The sample/display board headed with a typed description. Overall very good condition.

Provenance: The NPEA  epaulette insignia sample/display  boards were assembled by Colonel Dodkins during WW2,as part of military intelligence. Colonel Dodkins maintained the insignia boards following the war, and these became the catalyst to his important militaria collection, (which continued until his death in the early 1980s). Sold through Wallis & Wallis auction house in 1984.
