Royal Observer Corps Medal for sale. The medal engraved, 'CHIEF OBSERVER P.WADDELL'. Complete with ribbon, and top silver metal suspension with brooch pin assembly, which is engraved 'CB4251'.  Additional items included in the sale, which originally belonged to Waddell:

4-Embroidered 'WAR SERVICE COAST WATCHING' patch.

Condition report: The medal in excellent to near mint condition. Original silk ribbon. The other items also in overall excellent condition. The cloth patches having been removed from jackets, and showing light use.

Notes on Peter Waddell: During W.W.II, waddell was attached to the 53rd (Welsh) Signal Regiment. His conduct is shown as 'Exemplary'.

Provenance: The Observer Medal and related items direct from the family of Peter Waddell. Included in the sale photocopies of Waddell's 'Soldier's Release Book', along with a copy of a photograph of waddell. In addition a copy of a document from Waddell's grandson.
