A U-boat badge for sale. The solid-brass, early-manufactured award badge made by  Schwerin, Berlin.

Oval wreath with eagle & swastika to the top and central U-Boat. The badge beautifully finished in mercuric gilt and with polished highlights. The swastika and U-boat extensively burnished and proud to the wreath. Reverse bears the vertical flat tapered pin assembly. Impressed to the badge centre, the manufacturer's name, 'Schwerin, Berlin.'

Condition report: Mint pristine condition. 100% frosted and polished mercuric gilt finish throughout. The swastika and U-Boat remaining extensively burnished.
